Target Creative - Creative Director / Director of Copywriting - 2022 - present
Currently lead a team of Copy Leaders who oversee all areas of Copywriting within Target Creative. I’m responsible for setting the vision for our team, evolving the voice of the brand, developing capabilities within emerging technology, defining roadmaps for global working and creative directing campaigns both internally and with agency partners.
Target Creative - Copywriting ACD + Sr. Manager - 2017 - 2022
Led a team of cross-channel copywriters as well as creative directed a variety of campaigns, both with our internal agency and collaborating with external agencies, including Target’s loyalty program. Developed team, project and global partnership roadmaps and stood up a range of copy and creative efficiencies.
Target Creative - ACD - 2015 - 2017
Spent four months in India to grow and develop the Target in India Creative and Copywriting teams that has at least quadrupled in size, named and launched Target Driveup and put an editorial and creative perspective around a user-generated content digital product that has grown to become it's own team called Target Finds.
Target Creative - Copywriter & Senior Copywriter - 2010 - 2015
Grew and developed social media presence through partnerships and sending Tiny Animals to school, authored and led the voice for back to back holiday campaigns, launched a kid-influencer brand Art Class and wrote the #TakePride manifesto that is continuing to shape how Target shows up in the LGBTQIA+ community.
Target inHouse - Intern CW & Junior Copywriter- 2009 - 2012
Developed content for Target's new e-commerce platform, wrote for all areas of store experience marketing and print and wrote and produced a diversity and inclusion piece featuring stories from across the country in under three weeks.
JacobsonRost Advertising - Intern CW - 2008
Learned the art of concepting, wrote my first headline for Old Wisconsin Sausage and led field research across the Midwest for Leinenkugels.
